On Monday, Bridgnorth Endowed made the long trip to Sir John Talbot’s School in Whitchurch but returned victorious.
The game saw Zac Whittaker return to the defence and give an impressive display throughout.
Bridgnorth struggled to deal with the physicality of the SJT side but managed to take the lead when Ronnie Yates converted well.
SJT bounced back with a goal at the break, then BES caught them napping and Ronnie Yates restored the lead.
As Will Hobday and Noah Bishell started to match the pace in midfield, BES took control of the game and a well-worked corner saw the impressive Bishell turn in at the near post.
Solid defending ensured Bridgnorth progressed into the next round.
