Year 8 Boys Adjust Well to 11-a-side

BES U12s who beat Wrekin College

On Thursday evening, Bridgnorth Endowed’s Year 8 boys played their first competitive 11-a-side fixture in the ESFA National Cup, and secured a 3-1 win against Wrekin College.

The impressive performance saw Archie Williams continue where he left off with three goals to open this season’s campaign.

Highlighting Reubin Plain for a superb debut in goal, Mr Chase said: “Reubin has waited a long time to establish himself in the team and he’s now bravely put on the gloves.”

“I was equally impressed at the other end of the pitch. Archie rightfully gets a lot of plaudits for scoring goals, but a player like Ronnie Yates does all the selfless stuff and links with the midfield really well.”

Next, Bridgnorth will host Wolverhampton Grammar, who they played last year in the same competition.
