BES Aims for International School Award

Mr Younis hopes to achieve the International School Award for Bridgnorth Endowed

Bridgnorth Endowed’s recently-appointed RE teacher, Mr Younis, has big plans to introduce an exciting new international programme to enrich the curriculum and whole-school ethos.

His aim is to work towards achieving the British Council’s prestigious International School Award – a global accreditation scheme that brings an international dimension into schools.

The idea behind the project is to help young people gain cultural awareness, understanding and skills through international partnerships and global learning.

The first step is to build a strong student team and Mr Younis comments: “Over the next couple of weeks, we will be holding interviews to find our future International Ambassadors.”

“We are interested in hearing from young people who are keen to celebrate international work in schools and explore the value of bringing the world into the classroom.”
