A special food tasting lesson brought the wonderful and vibrant flavours of Spain to delighted Year 8 students in school on Friday.
Students sampled a range of specialities, including chorizo, Manchego cheese, black and green olives, salted sunflower seeds, potato tortilla, serrano ham and more.
The tasting session offered students a fun, interactive way to get to grips with this useful set of vocabulary and taste some of the food enjoyed by Spanish people.
Language teacher, Mr Martinez, said: “There were mixed opinions about the food, some weren’t too convinced but others loved everything.”
“It was great to see them trying these flavours for the first time and being able to express themselves in Spanish.”
Highlights of the Lesson
