Bridgnorth Endowed was delighted to welcome local primaries for an exciting inter-school netball tournament, after a last-minute change of venue, on Tuesday afternoon.
The East Shropshire Primary Netball Festival marked the first invasion game competition following the lifting of Covid-19 restrictions and twelve primary schools from across the area were keen to attend.
The nail-biting final took place between St John’s Catholic School and Much Wenlock Primary, with St John’s going on to win the closely-contested match 2-1.
ESSP co-ordinator, Mr Steve Chase, said of the event: “The festival was a great success and I’d like to thank the amazing Bridgnorth Endowed Year 10 Sports Leaders who stepped in to ensure the event could go ahead.”
