U13 Boys Romp to Victory

The BES U13 boys’ team ahead of their match against Wolverhampton Grammar

On Monday, it was the turn of the U13 Boys to visit Wolverhampton Grammar School in this year’s English Schools’ Football Association National Cup.

Despite being in Year 8, previous Covid restrictions meant that this was the boys’ first-ever outing in Bridgnorth Endowed colours and they certainly didn’t disappoint, returning with a 10-goal victory.

Top scorer was Elijah Farley with four goals, Harry Quinton got three, and George Brettle, Ryan Gaff and Callum Hudson each chalked up one a piece.

PE teacher, Mr Chase, said: “This is an impressive result, especially when you consider we’ve only been playing within the confines of school for the past year.”

“Lots of local clubs have kept these lads going and we’ve now been able to draw them together and produce a very competitive squad. Well done to all on a great match.”
