New Platform for Former Students to Share Career Insights

Pupils looking for career inspiration can now access a dynamic new section on the Bridgnorth Endowed website, which features the success stories of former students.

The idea behind the project is to explore the experiences of ex-students, trace their career paths and ask them to impart some of the wisdom they have learnt along the way.

Raising aspirations is at the heart of the school’s careers programme, and the new online content offers a great way to motivate pupils by highlighting the possibilities.

The customised database and handy filters give users the option to search by year of study or field of work, to reveal some truly inspirational stories from a broad range of sectors and age groups.

With a rich history of more than 500 years, Bridgnorth Endowed alumni have contributed extensively to society, both locally and further afield, making them highly relatable positive role models.

Careers Lead, Mrs Mitchell, comments: “This is a fantastic platform for all students in the school to see how successful so many of our previous students have been and understand how they could follow in their footsteps to happy and rewarding careers.”

“It’s so important for young people to see opportunities beyond their own environment and realise the diverse range of jobs that are available in the wider world.”

If you are a former Bridgnorth Endowed School student, we’d love to hear from you. Please complete this short online form or email Sue Underhill at SUnderhill@bridgnorthendowed.co.uk.
