Congratulations to Bridgnorth Endowed’s Year 10 netball team who came second in a Shropshire tournament held last Thursday.
The girls played exceptionally well, with four resounding wins and one draw:
- Won 11–0 against Thomas Telford
- Won 9–1 against Idsall
- Drew 4–4 against Burton Borough A
- Won 10–0 against Madeley
- Won 33–0 against Burton Borough C
The team’s solid performance led to a well-earned place in the final against Newport Girls’ High School.
However, Newport played a strong and determined match, and won with a final score of 8–2.
