Bridgnorth Endowed School is celebrating its 500th year anniversary clock coming back to life, after several years of showing the wrong time.
Today, clock specialists JB Joyce & Co of Whitchurch came into school to carry out repairs on the iconic timepiece and managed to get it ticking once again.
The clock, which sits on the much-loved Old Hall, was installed in 2003 to mark the school’s extremely long and rich history that dates all the way back to 1503.
