Well done to Dewi Arch, from Year 9, who qualified for the final of the West Midlands Regional Swimming Championships that took place in Coventry earlier this month.
This comes hot on the heels of huge success at the Wolverhampton Swimming Club Spring Open in April, where he earned a hat-trick of golds and a quartet of silvers, as well as four regional qualifying times.
As a dedicated swimmer and member of Northgate Swimming Club for the past four years, Dewi is committed to training hard and swims five days a week.
Mum, Nerys, commented: “We’re very proud of Dewi. He works so hard and did really well getting through to the final of the regional swimming champs.”
