Student’s Badge-Making Fundraiser Tops £1K

Keen to help those affected by the conflict in Ukraine, Year 7 student, Isabelle Crann, decided to start making badges to raise money for the humanitarian appeal.

The 12-year-old, together with her mum and younger sister, immediately got to work making round and heart-shaped badges in the colours of the Ukrainian flag.

Promoting them in school, at Bridgnorth Football Club and via her mum’s Facebook page, demand took off and production needed to be stepped up as they were selling like hot cakes.

Izzy, who was completely overwhelmed by the incredible response and the amount of people who wanted to buy the badges, managed to raise more than £1000 in total.

Congratulations to Izzy and her family on their tremendous fundraising efforts for the people of Ukraine.
