Year 7 Model Cell Project

Year 7 students have been busy learning about cells and cell structures in science this half term and were set some interesting homework.

They were asked to find different ways to either build or draw a plant or animal cell to demonstrate their understanding of the topic.

In Year 7, students start their scientific studies by exploring what makes us who we are. They gain an insight into different human cells and how these then link to form the structure of the human body.

Science teacher, Mrs Porter, comments: “The students made model cells and crib sheets for their homework and there were some excellent results – even a delicious cell cake. Well done 7E!”
