Year 10 Tennis Star Serves Up Success on the Court

Congratulations to Year 10’s Seb Whitmore, who’s been absolutely smashing it on the tennis court lately. Over the past few weeks, he’s chalked up some amazing wins, securing not one but two Bridgnorth titles—he’s now the Under-14s and Under-18s Champion.

Adding to his achievements, Seb’s winning streak has continued with victories in two Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) tournaments held in Stourbridge and Belbroughton, where he triumphed against players from all over the Midlands.

The secret to his success is simply hard work and sheer determination. Seb is so committed to his game, he gets up early every single morning to squeeze in an hour of practice before school.

The good news is that Seb’s dedication has truly paid off this year, as he has earned a well-deserved place in the Shropshire County squad, which means he will now have the opportunity to train and compete at a higher level.

Seb’s accomplishments on the court are an inspiration and a shining example of what perseverance and passion can achieve. We look forward to seeing more of his success in the future.
