School show rehearsals are now in full swing for the upcoming Bridgnorth Endowed production of ‘We Will Rock You’, which is set to open in March of next year.

Under the creative eye and direction of Mrs Taylor, Miss Edwards and Mr Gadd, the cast members are being put through their paces as the award-winning Queen classic is brought to life.

The show stars Harry Lewis (Year 10) as Galileo, alongside Maisie James-Owen (Year 9) who plays Scaramouche and Freya Cresswell (Year 11) who takes on the role of Killer Queen.

The school’s creative arts technician, Miss Edwards, revealed: “The cast has been rehearsing in earnest since September and the characters are really starting to develop.”

“The aim is for us to harness support from some of the school’s extra-curricular clubs, so Art Club will be creating some of the scenery, Drama Club will be working on backstage production and Sewing Club will be helping with the costumes’”

Opening night is on Thursday 23rd March 2022 and the team believes that this production will be their best show ever.
