After two years of competitive action, the U13 boys football team finally got the chance to celebrate gaining their maiden win against a strong Oldbury Wells team yesterday.
Goals from Reece Owen and Ed Richardson took Bridgnorth Endowed ahead before half time.
Good decision-making saw the team maintain their lead and although Oldbury pressed in the second half, solid defending prevented any change to the 3-1 score.
The boys were rewarded for their previous efforts, including a narrow extra time defeat in the County Cup and a 2-2 draw, by finally getting to enjoy that winning feeling.
