All students in Year 7 and 8 were awarded EDT Industrial Cadets Challenger certificates by Mr Worth last Thursday.
The pupils had taken part in STEM workshops delivered by the Engineering Development Trust (EDT) at the beginning of October and have received the accolade for completing the challenges.
During the event, students designed, built and tested model rollercoasters and trebuchets, to investigate real-world applications of the science, technology, engineering and maths behind the tasks.
EDT is a UK education charity that provides STEM learning opportunities for young people aged 9 to 21, with the aim of enhancing the curriculum and building careers awareness.
