A group of Year 10s from Bridgnorth Endowed visited Shrewsbury College’s Art and Design Summer Show on Friday and got a glimpse into the creative talents of its art and design students.
The event showcased artwork produced from a wide range of courses available at the college, and our students gained some insight into possible pathways they could move on to.
The day included a fashion show and the chance to tour exhibitions of art and design, graphic communication, textiles, product design, photography, and creative media.
Head of Creative Arts at BES, Mrs Rhodes, commented: “Our students were amazed at the standard of work on display and really enjoyed seeing exhibits from former Bridgnorth Endowed students.”
“The quote of the day has to be ‘ This is better than The Turner Prize we saw at the Liverpool Tate’, which sums up how impressed our students were .”
