Noah Takes First Place in Junior Walk

Congratulations to Noah Clayworth from Year 7 who came first in this year’s Bridgnorth Lions Junior Walk, which took place on Monday.

An incredible achievement in its own right, but even more impressive when, just seven months ago, he underwent life-saving surgery for a burst appendix.

The junior event saw 130 nine-to-14-year-olds tackle the challenging seven-mile route that starts and finishes in Ditton Priors and includes a climb to the top of the Brown Clee, the highest hill in Shropshire.

Meanwhile, in the 22-mile senior walk, Year 11 student, Rhys Saunders, came in ninth place overall, followed by many other Bridgnorth Endowed pupils who put their best foot forward to raise money for charity.

Well done to everyone who took part.
