Bridgnorth Endowed School student, Harry Lewis, is set to represent England at the 2019 World Open ITF Taekwondo Championships, which take place in Scotland next month.
Taekwondo has been a big part of his life since the age of five and over the past year he’s stepped up his campaign for selection with extra squad training to focus on his skill development.
Taking part in numerous competitions around the country, Harry’s most recent achievement was in September when he won gold and became the national Taekwondo champion.
Harry, from Year 7, is now preparing for the World Championships following the fantastic news that he’s secured a place in the 15-strong team and will head off to compete in the three-day event that starts on Friday 1st November.
