Pupils at Bridgnorth Endowed were delighted to present a cheque for £160 to Innage Lane Youth Club in recognition of its work with local teenagers.
The money came from the proceeds of a Valentine’s disco fundraiser held for Year 7s and 8s in school last month.
The youth club runs weekly sessions packed with fun activities for 10 to 15-year-olds and BES students chose to support the service as part of their commitment to community projects.
The disco was a huge success with refreshments, a fun photo booth and DJ Broomy playing top tunes for everyone to dance the night away to.
A big thank you to Vicky and Georgie from Innage Lane Youth Club, who ran the photo booth during the event.
