On Tuesday afternoon, Ellesmere School visited The Friars Playing Fields for an U14s fixture against Bridgnorth Endowed.
Some exceptional bowling from Reubin Plain and Ben Musgrave restricted Ellesmere to 75-5, and Ollie Dawson went on to produce an impressive 63 not out.
With the weather changing, Bridgnorth struggled to find the boundary due to the wet outfield and some tight bowling.
Despite only losing three wickets, BES fell short of their target but will look to bounce back in their next fixture.
