Cricket has returned to Bridgnorth Endowed with a vengeance as the U15 XI squad enjoyed a home win in their County Cup quarter-final against Ludlow School yesterday afternoon.
The team delivered a sterling performance as Louis Jordan’s 42 and Tom Casswell’s 38 gave Bridgnorth a solid platform to post Ludlow 172 runs to win.
Some superb bowling from Josh Sykes saw him returning 2-2 off three overs, and Elliott Bowen taking 3-22 ensured Ludlow could only muster 104 from their 20 overs.
Well done to all the lads and the best of luck in the semi-final, where they’ll meet Ellesmere College.
