Aspiring techies and engineers are set to benefit from the latest in printing technology as the school’s PTA, BES Friends, funds a brand-new 3D printer.

Mr Chase, who heads up Bridgnorth Endowed’s PTA, officially presented the state-of-the-art printer to ICT teacher, Mr Akhtar, earlier this afternoon.

The new equipment will allow students to take part in interactive sessions, and be able to produce intricate designs, boosting STEM learning in school.

Mr Akhtar comments: “We’re extremely grateful to BES Friends for giving our pupils the opportunity to experience the potential of 3D printing.”

“Its use is anticipated to be more widespread across many fields of work, so it’s essential for students to get to grips with this technology.”

The PTA has recently changed its name to BES Friends and proudly reveals its new logo, which reflects the friendly, dynamic group that plays an important role in the thriving Bridgnorth Endowed School community.
