This week’s Scholastic Book Fair attracted a large turnout, as students from all year groups were able to browse through hundreds of titles and buy books at discounted prices.
Bridgnorth Endowed is a school that fosters a love of reading for pleasure and the fairs are fun, pop-up events that give students the opportunity to celebrate and enjoy books.
English Teacher and Literacy Lead, Ms Poole, commented: “It was wonderful to be able to run this popular school event which was, once again, a tremendous success.”
“Over £500 worth of books were sold, which means £125 will come back to BES and enable us to buy more books for our library.”
A big thank you to parents, students and staff for supporting the event.
