A Warm Welcome to New Pupils and Parents

Parents of pupils due to start at Bridgnorth Endowed in September were invited to attend a new parents’ event that was held in school on Wednesday 10th July.

The evening began with a talk from Headteacher, Mr Worth, and a chance for the youngsters to get a glimpse of the future with a preview of this year’s prom video.

The much-anticipated Year 11 event, which marks the end of the journey at the school, showed the soon-to-be Year 7s the culmination of the five years ahead.

Introductions were made to the entire BES Team, including the teachers, support staff, senior leadership team and House captains, and Mr Worth went on to share the school’s core values and key drivers.

‘Meet the Tutor’ sessions came next, giving pupils the opportunity to start to get to know their forms and gain some understanding of how everything works at the school.

The new starters learnt about the home-school agreement and the vertical tutoring system, where tutor groups include students from all years for a more supportive ‘family atmosphere’.

During the event, school badges and ties were on sale, and refreshments were served by our wonderful caterers, Aspens Services.

Following the upcoming six-week summer holiday, we look forward to welcoming the new pupils, who are due to start the new term on Wednesday 4th September.
