Sharon Downing (née Taylor), who was a much-loved member of staff at Bridgnorth Endowed School, passed away suddenly on Friday 22nd August, after a short illness.
Sharon came to the school as a student and then, in later life, was employed here for over ten years, most recently as Cleaning Manager.
A real team player and avid supporter of Bridgnorth Endowed, nothing was ever too much trouble for her.
Sharon’s manager, Sue Underhill, said: “I only had to mention something and she did it, that was Sharon – always there, always supportive.”
“She was not only a much-valued member of my team but a great friend. Liked and loved by many, Sharon has left a void in our school and will be greatly missed by us all. I will certainly miss her by my side.”
