The aromatic flavours of the Orient were served up at a special Taste of China lunchtime event held in school yesterday.
On the menu were favourites, such as Chicken Chow Mein, Beef in Black Bean Sauce and a Chinese-style Mushroom Curry.
All came with a choice of tasty sides, including fried rice, spring rolls, prawn crackers, salt and pepper wedges, and sweet chilli cauliflower.
For dessert, there were also plenty of crowd-pleasers, from pineapple fritters and ice cream to a delicious selection of freshly-baked cakes and cookies.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the theme day and are already looking forward to the next event, which is due to take place in May. A big thank you to Aspens.
