On Monday evening, Bridgnorth Endowed Year 7 Boys faced their toughest opponents in Thomas Adams of Wem.
Up against one of the best young goalkeepers in Shropshire, the Endowed boys had to be at their very best to get passed him.
In a game that saw Bridgnorth register over 20 shots on target, the visiting keeper continued to perform heroics in the goal.
Yet despite finding themselves 3-1 down at one point, striker Archie Williams went on to fire a sensational second half hat-trick to secure a hard-fought 4-3 win.
The team will now progress to the second round of the County Cup where they’ll face the winners of the Thomas Telford vs Meole Brace fixture.
