On Friday afternoon, Bridgnorth Endowed welcomed the RAF Air Cadets into school to talk to Year 8 about the benefits of joining as part of the school’s careers programme of events to prepare students for future career and study pathways.

Three BES students, who are already members of 63 Bridgnorth Squadron, shared their experiences as air cadets and talked about how they have gained a number of important life skills and take part in a whole host of exciting activities.

From rock climbing to parachuting, canoeing to camping, air cadets are given the opportunity to try a wide range of action-packed pursuits, designed to foster a sense of adventure and help them develop as well-rounded young people who are able to make a positive contribution to society.

Further details can be found here and students are able to join by completing this form: https://forms.office.com/e/m48m4Qq7Eq
