Year 11 Geography Field Trip

On Tuesday morning, Year 11 geography students headed off on a school trip to Stratford-upon-Avon to conduct essential fieldwork as part of their GCSE studies.

Working together in small groups, they collected data that was later used in class to try to assess the impact of tourism on the well-known Warwickshire town.

Geography teacher, Mr Pope, commented: “The trip was a great success and the students thoroughly enjoyed going out into the field to expand their studies.”

“Fieldwork is such an important aspect of the course as it helps them to fully engage with what they’re learning and develop vital skills outside of the classroom.”
