Rehearsals are now in full swing for Bridgnorth Endowed’s upcoming school production of We Will Rock You, which opens for performances next spring.
Auditions took place at the start of term and a dazzling cast was announced soon after. Lead roles have gone to Harry Lewis, as Galileo, Maisie James-Owen takes on Scaramouche, Freya Cresswell is set to play Killer Queen, and Henry Rhodes is Khashoggi.
Featuring more than 20 hit Queen songs, including Another One Bites the Dust, Bohemian Rhapsody, and We Are the Champions, We Will Rock You follows two young rebels as they try to restore rock ‘n’ roll to “the iPlanet” in a post-apocalyptic world.
Described as a fist-pumping, foot-stomping anthem to individuality, We Will Rock You is not to be missed and, with our experienced production team at the helm, the show is set to be a huge success.
