Awards for academic excellence, personal achievement and positive behaviour were presented to outstanding students at Bridgnorth Endowed’s end-of-term assembly held yesterday.

In front of the whole school, more than a hundred students from all year groups received recognition for their hard work and dedication over the previous term.

Worthy of mention, Evie Davies, from Year 10, achieved the top grade in four subjects and Grace Jones, Molly Casswell and Mae Cates-Walters all ranked the highest in three.

Special praise also goes to Year 8 pupil, Jessica Berry, who was singled out for making the most progress in three subjects, a testament to all the hard work she’s put in this term.

The school went on to announce a new Headteacher’s Commendation, which was awarded to James Lichfield (Year 11) and William Ellison (Year 8) for their fantastic achievement across the board.

Earlier in the day, students with high positive behaviour scores were rewarded with either a trip to Bridgnorth cinema to watch the latest Star Wars blockbuster or the chance to enjoy a film at school, if they preferred.
