Awards for a range of achievements, including academic attainment, personal success and positive behaviour were presented to students at Bridgnorth Endowed’s end-of-term assembly held yesterday.
In front of the whole school, more than a hundred students from all year groups received recognition for their dedication and efforts over the autumn term. Among them, were a number of students selected for the outstanding recognition awards, aligned with the school’s five core values.
For the Kindness Award, staff nominated Quinn Hickie, Charlie Rees, Brody Matthews, Courtney Matts, and Phoebe Smith in recognition of their compassion and consideration towards others.
The Resilience Award was presented to Laura Pumphrey, Charlie Cooper, Polly Prescott, Eddie Buckley, Phoebe Harrison, Felicity Plant, and Ryley Powell, acknowledging their perseverance and strength in overcoming challenges.
Rebecca Gee, Charlie Cooper, Layla Cook, Reubin Plain, Ava Heffernan, Charlie Fletcher, Darcey Rock, and Ava Chandler were given the Aspiration Award for their ambition and drive to achieve their goals.
Commendations for continual positive engagement with school activities and society were given to Florrie Cole and Oliver Hughes, who earned the Respect Award. Finally, the Trust Award was handed out to Sophie Jewkes, Isobel Onions, Mia Wain, Noah Bishell, and Evie Delaney for their commitment, reliability and integrity.
Other announcements in the assembly had everyone buzzing, from the reveal of the students named ‘Autumn Stars’ to the tutor groups topping the attendance charts. Plus, there was an exciting update on the Houses and their rankings in the race for the House Cup.
The event was a special and heartwarming end to the term, which shined a spotlight on the incredible accomplishments of Bridgnorth Endowed’s students.
