Pupils’ Artwork Brings Joy to Wheatlands Care Home Residents

Artwork created by Year 8 students for the sensory garden at Wheatlands Care Home

Year 8 students from Bridgnorth Endowed School have created some stunning artwork for Wheatlands Care Home in Much Wenlock to raise the spirits of its residents at this very difficult time.

Students, who are currently studying from home during the lockdown, produced pictures around the theme ‘bringing the outside in’ for an eye-catching mural at the local care home.

Wheatlands’ general manager, Claire Brewer, said: “As our residents are now unable to go out or have visitors to stay safe, this has really cheered them up and made them smile.”

“Thank you so much to all the Bridgnorth Endowed students for their extremely talented artwork, which has taken pride of place in our sensory garden.”
