Congratulations to our worthy pumpkin carving competition winners, who were announced earlier today.
Inspired by the monster of Frankenstein, Lucas Morris from 7VI created a pumpkin with stitches across its terrifying face.
Lottie Griffin from 7IN showed intricate carving skills with her mythical griffin design, and James Axon, also from 7IN, crafted a Chuckie-type face complete with a full set of teeth.
Head of Creative Arts, Mrs Rhodes, commented: “Well done to all students who entered. How amazing to see so many different designs and creative carving skills. Next year’s vision is to fill the Old Hall with carved pumpkins.”
The individual winners each received chocolates and an Amazon voucher, and all students who entered were awarded house points to go towards the House Cup contest.
