Onatti Productions Returns with French Play

Just before half term, Bridgnorth Endowed School welcomed back theatre company, Onatti Productions, to put on a second foreign language performance for students in Years 7 to 9.

This time, the play was in French and billed as one of their most popular pieces, specifically written for a teenage audience.

‘Les Garçons’ begins with Monsieur et Madame Dulin going out to a fancy dress party and leaving their babysitter, Natalie, in charge.

Unfortunately, her quiet evening with baby Bruno is soon interrupted by her ex-boyfriend Tristan, who desperately wants to get back together with her.

Reluctantly, she lets him stay but they argue and she storms out, leaving Tristan to look after the baby and face the Dulin’s when they return home.

Foreign languages teacher, Mrs Sheffield, said: “The play was a great cultural experience that enabled the pupils to tune into the French language in an engaging way.”

“Thank you to the PTA for their kind donation and also to parents for their contributions – without this support the event would not have been possible.”
