Hundreds of students from local primary schools took part in the ‘Mud Run Challenge’ held at Bridgnorth Endowed School on Thursday 24th November.
Organised by the South-East Shropshire Sports Partnership, the event saw over 260 pupils from Years 5 and 6 completing a mud run with obstacle course on the school’s Friars playing fields.
The event forms part of a series of primary school competitions that Bridgnorth Endowed-based Games Organiser, Grace Rock, delivers as part of her role within the South-East Shropshire Sports Partnership.
Grace commented: “This was a wonderful event and congratulations to everyone involved. All competitors successfully conquered the course and there were some outstanding performances.”
“Special thanks go to our Year 9 sports leaders who helped to make the afternoon run smoothly.”
