Year 9 student, Madison Price, recently achieved an incredible victory in the LeMieux Quest Winter League, competing as part of Herefordshire’s Valley View Only Fools on Horses team.
Maddie, just 14 years old, was the only junior member of the team, riding against experienced adult competitors. Despite this challenge, she played a key role in the team’s success, helping them secure the top five scores to claim the title.
Riding her much-loved horse, Rosie, Maddie demonstrated outstanding skill and composure in the art of dressage, which demands precision, discipline and harmony between horse and rider.
With the summer season now underway, Maddie is set to compete again this weekend at the Kingswood Equestrian Centre in Staffordshire. Looking ahead, she hopes to expand her talents into show jumping, proving that she is an all-rounder in the equestrian world.
