Hardwicke Holds onto Sports Day Trophy

Congratulations to Hardwicke House for winning the Sports Day Trophy for the third year running, with a top score of 62 points.

Not far behind, Washbrook came second with 59 points and Rowley took third place with 55 points.

Instead of the customary annual sports day, where the three houses come together on The Friars Playing Fields to battle it out, students took part in a virtual event, each competing from their own homes.

The three-day pentathlon involved students taking on five activities, including 100-metre sprints and standing jumps, then submitting their personal bests at the end of the contest.

Well done to everyone who took part.
