Last night was the turn of the U15 girls to don the BES colours for County Cup action. Despite a number off school due to illness, Bridgnorth Endowed made the long trip to face Bishops Castle.
Bridgnorth took an early lead when Hannah Belcher steered home at the near post, but it wasn’t until the second half that the team got into the groove, with the impressive Livy Holt and Chloe Cains dominating the midfield.
Belcher struck again to make it two, before a lovely through ball was crossed by Belcher for strike partner Harriet Walton to volley home.
Bridgnorth progress into the quarter finals, where they will once again do battle with Meole Brace.
Final score Bishops Castle 0-3 BES. Well done girls!
