This morning saw the start of the brand-new breakfast service that’s been launched at Bridgnorth Endowed School.
The gates now open half an hour earlier for students to come in and enjoy a delicious breakfast with friends before the hustle and bustle of the school day begins.
The new competitively-priced menu includes a tasty selection of toasted breakfast items and pastries, cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit and hot options such as sausage baps – in fact everything you need to get off to a flying start.
Hailed as the most important meal of the day, the NHS states that ‘breakfast has been shown to have positive effects on children’s mental performance and increase their concentration throughout the morning.’
Bridgnorth Endowed is keen to support this message and hopes the morning menu will offer students a chance to socialise over a freshly prepared healthy breakfast ahead of the day’s learning.
Breakfast will be available Monday to Friday, between 8.10am and 8.40am, in the main dining hall.
