Sixth formers from Bridgnorth Endowed are celebrating their impressive achievements, which, in the midst of the challenges that this year has presented, are testament to their hard work and commitment.

Although the coronavirus pandemic resulted in exams having to be cancelled, the school is exceptionally proud of its Year 13 students, who remained focused and determined during a very difficult period.

Individual successes include Lucy Crump, who got A*, A*, A in Business Studies, Geography and Mathematics, and has secured a place at the University of Wolverhampton to study Quantity Surveying.

Lucy Sims plans to study Primary Education at Wolverhampton, after achieving A, A, Distinction* in English Literature, Psychology and BTEC Health, and Harry Jones is off to Nottingham Trent University to study Sports Engineering.

Josh Lawton will study Computer Studies at Birmingham City University and Lottie Gray, who received excellent grades of A, A, B in English Literature, Psychology and Fine Art, is set to study Psychology at the University of Lancaster.

Headteacher, Mr Worth, said: “Our students have shown a great deal of resilience and dedication and this summer’s results reflect how consistently they have worked over the two years.”

“I’d also like to praise our teaching staff who demonstrated immense professionalism, and showed meticulous attention to detail in submitting accurate estimates that have led to this year’s grades.”
