In their first game for two years, Bridgnorth Endowed U16s made the long trip to Whitchurch to face Sir John Talbot’s in the President’s Trophy on Tuesday evening.
In what was an amazing game between two well-matched teams, Bridgnorth edged the win with goals from James Whitmore and Jimmy Taylor.
Jamie Onions had an outstanding game in goal as he successfully made the switch from outfield, previously playing right wing.
BES will face the winner of Hadley Learning Community vs Lacon Childe in the next round.
