Over the past couple of weeks, two groups of our Year 9 students have successfully completed their Duke of Edinburgh’s Bronze Award qualifying expeditions in the beautiful hills around Church Stretton.
Each group spent two days navigating the Shropshire countryside, carrying their kit, and working together to tackle both physical and mental challenges. Along the way, they demonstrated fantastic teamwork, resilience, and determination – despite the changeable weather and some testing hill climbs.
Well done to all the students involved for their effort and positive attitudes, and a big thank you to the staff and volunteers who supported them on their journeys.
