Pupils Become Word Millionaires

Year 7 students who have read between one and two million words through AR

Bridgnorth Endowed continues its crusade to encourage students to read for pleasure through the recent library refresh, the reintroduction of daily ‘drop everything and read’ sessions and its unwavering commitment to the Accelerated Reader programme.

The highly-acclaimed online reading platform is more popular than ever with many students joining the ‘Millionaire’s Club’ by clocking up points for reading over a million words and completing the quizzes linked to the books.

This half term, we would like to congratulate eight Year 7 students who have topped the reading charts and become reading millionaires. Well done to Charlie Fletcher, Niamh McQuoid and Annie Bosson for going even further and reaching the two-million-word mark.

High praise also goes to Emily Sanderson, Lottie Griffin, Henry Griffin, Lily Hancox and Alfie Paskin-Jones for all reading over a million words – an impressive achievement to be proud of.
