PTA Seeks New Members

Drones funded by the PTA

All parents and grandparents are invited to join the Bridgnorth Endowed School PTA for its Annual General Meeting next Monday.

The event takes place at The Golden Lion, on the High Street, on Monday 22nd October at 7pm, and all are welcome.

We’re seeking any energetic and enthusiastic members of our thriving school community, willing to commit some time to supporting Bridgnorth Endowed through fundraising events and activities.

The school’s PTA (BESA) plays an important role in providing essential equipment to enhance the pupils’ learning experience at the school. Over the past two years, among many other items, this has included:

  • Drones for the new Drone Club
  • PE equipment
  • 3D printer for IT
  • 20 ukuleles for the Music Department
  • Maths software for all years
  • Equipment for the Health Department
  • School books across all years

Volunteering for the PTA can be very rewarding. As well as having a positive impact on the school and making a difference, you’ll put your skills to good use and make new friends too.

Unfortunately, without new parents, the committee may have to close down due to a lack of members. After years of having a PTA in place, actively supporting the school, we sincerely hope it will continue.
