Year 7 Parents’ Evening
A reminder that the Year 7 Parents’ Evening is taking place on Wednesday. This is a great opportunity to meet your child’s subject teachers, reflect on their start at BES, and discuss their progress. Some slots are still available – book on Arbor now.
Christmas Lunch & Jumper Day
Our Christmas lunch will take place on Wednesday 17th December, along with Christmas Jumper Day. Students and staff are invited to wear their favourite festive knits for a £1 donation, which we’ll share between Save the Children and our School Fund.
BES Christmas Raffle 2025
The BES Christmas Raffle is now in full swing! Tickets are just £1, and every pound helps us provide new resources for our students. Amazing prizes are up for grabs, including a £200 Smyths gift card, a Ninja Air Fryer, and much more. Buy here
Comer Woods Festive Trail Now Open
The Comer Woods Festive Trail is now open and includes the BES Christmas tree, decorated with our pupils’ beautiful, eco-friendly creations. Visit this December to enjoy the National Trust event and our students’ wonderful work. View gallery
Drop-in Flu Vaccination Clinic
For those who missed the in-school flu vaccinations, we’ve been asked by the Shropshire Community Health Trust team to pass on details of a walk-in flu vaccination clinic for school-aged children in Shrewsbury this Saturday (6th). More details
GCSE Exam Certificates Ready for Collection
GCSE certificates from last summer’s exams are now available for collection from the school office, weekdays 8 am–4 pm. Students should ideally collect in person; third parties must bring a signed authorisation note and photo ID. More details
