Prom Night Magic for Bridgnorth Endowed’s Class of 2026

What a night it was for Bridgnorth Endowed School’s Year 11 students, who came together last Wednesday to celebrate their Leavers’ Prom at The Blakelands Estate in Bobbington.

After months of exams, revision and hard work, it was finally time for the Class of 2026 to let their hair down and enjoy a well-earned evening dedicated entirely to them.

Dressed to impress, they certainly made an entrance to remember. The arrival at the venue was a spectacle in itself, with students turning up in an eye-catching mix of sports cars, vintage classics, American icons, tractors, a motorbike cavalcade and, in one standout moment, a student arriving on horseback.

With temperatures in the 30s, the disco was moved to the venue’s walled garden, creating a striking setting as the evening got underway beneath the summer sky.

Against the picturesque backdrop of The Blakelands Estate, the celebration quickly came alive with music, dancing and time spent with friends as the Year 11s marked the end of their school journey together.

From start to finish, there was a real buzz in the air, with glorious weather adding to the occasion and a sense that everything had come together perfectly for this milestone event.

The night was brought to a spectacular close with a fireworks display lighting up the sky – a fitting finale to a memorable send-off for this year’s Year 11 cohort, who now look ahead to their exciting next steps beyond school.
