Food Bank Appeal Thank You
Thank you to everyone who generously contributed to this year’s Food Bank Appeal. After counting all the donations, we are excited to share that we’ve collected nearly a thousand items. Your support is truly appreciated and will make a big difference.
Consultation on Admission Arrangements for 2027/28
The Local Authority has asked us to share their Consultation on Admission Arrangements for 2027/28. If you’d like to provide feedback on the proposed changes, please email school-admissions@shropshire.gov.uk before 16/01/2026. See notice
After-School Gym Sessions
We’re pleased to offer after-school gym sessions for students aged 12+. Pupils will first need to complete an induction with Mr. Chase and show their gym card before each session. To keep things fair, parents should book weekly rather than in bulk.
Reporting Student Absences
We kindly ask that parents report absences or appointments via our absence line. If no one is available to answer, please leave a message with your child’s name and the reason. Messages are checked regularly, helping us keep track of attendance.
County Lines Awareness Webinar
Parents and carers are invited to a free webinar exploring the key issues surrounding county lines. Delivered by Catch 22, the session offers practical guidance on spotting risks, supporting young people, and accessing help. Find out more here
Shropshire Council Winter HAF Programme
Shropshire Council has launched its HAF winter activities programme, which offers free holiday fun and food for children aged 4–16 who are eligible for benefits-related free school meals. Find out more here
