Six of our talented students spent last week immersed in a five-day, West End-led performing arts workshop held right here at Bridgnorth Endowed School – and they absolutely loved it.
Evie Dornan, Charlotte Cotterill, Hollie Kirk, Darcey Hoult, Abigail Higgott and Ava Edwards took part in One Week More – The West End Experience! for the chance to take their singing, dancing and acting skills to the next level.
They were joined by 25 other young performers from across the country, training under the guidance of leading professionals from the world of musical theatre and television.
Run by Yellow Ticket Productions, the summer school featured a stellar line-up: Alfonso Casado (Broadway & West End Musical Supervisor), Jessie Hart and Lucy Key (West End performers), Chris Key (Worldwide Associate Director of Les Misérables), plus a few surprise special guests.
The week culminated in a fantastic showcase in our drama studio, with scenes from Blood Brothers, a lively Mamma Mia number, and plenty of solos for those brave enough to step into the spotlight. The energy, talent and confidence on display were incredible.
And the best part? The event was such a hit that One Week More – The West End Experience! is already set to return to Bridgnorth Endowed next year.
